My Take on Aussie Frizz Off 24H Leave-In Serum
Spoiler alert: this serum didn’t solve everything but it definitely surprised me.
I recently decided to give Aussie’s Frizz Off leave in serum a go partly because I’m always battling frizz and flyaways, especially with UK weather being so unpredictable. The hype around it spoke about softness, shine, and taming frizz, and I was curious if it could deliver.
Let me be honest I was half expecting it to sit on top of my hair, feel heavy or sticky and maybe even make things worse. A few pumps in my hands, a quick rub between fingers and then I applied it to damp hair. This is how it went...
What I loved (and what surprised me)
-
First off: I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it felt. It melted into my hair instead of sitting on top no greasy “coat,” no heavy residue. My ends were not crunchy. My hair felt soft, smooth, and more manageable.
-
My hair looked noticeably less frizzy and flyaway prone than usual. There was less of that fuzzy, unruly texture hair just looked calmer, sleeker like I’d tamed the chaos.
-
The softness was a big win: it felt moisturised, easier to run my fingers through, and generally more tamed.
-
Also I really liked that a small amount was enough. Too much product often ruins things by weighing hair down, but with this serum, a little went a long way and that gave me control.
-
It helped my hair deal better with damp or humid weather (which here in the UK is often unpredictable). On wash days or even on dry hair days if I needed a quick touch-up, this serum made a difference.
Where it wasn’t perfect
-
The frizz didn’t fully vanish. I’m not walking around with “glass smooth” hair yet but that may be asking too much from my hair.
-
On days when I used too much… yeah, it threatened to make hair a bit limp or weighed down. So that “less is more” rule really matters.
-
I guess if you expect a miracle like totally sleek, salon-straight hair without frizz you might end up slightly disappointed.
So, is it worth it?
Overall, it left my hair softer, smoother and noticeably less frizzy without that crunchy or greasy finish I hate in other serums. It didn’t magically perfect my hair, but it absolutely made it look better and honestly that’s all I was hoping for.
If you’re dealing with daily frizz and want something lightweight that actually makes a difference, Aussie Frizz Off is definitely worth trying, grab a bottle and see how it works for your hair. It's currently 50% off at Boots right now.
What is your go to anti frizz product?
