Nothing feels more magical than December nights spent under a warm blanket with a festive book in hand. Whether you crave cozy small-town romance, laugh out loud holiday rom coms, dark wintery spice, or whimsical fantasy with a seasonal twist, the Christmas season offers the perfect excuse to dive into stories that spark joy and in this post I am showing you my top six books I want to read this December.
✨My Christmas Romance & Fantasy Books December TBR
1. He Sees You When You’re Sleeping — Alta Hensley
I'm no stranger to dark romances but this obsessive, deliciously twisted, steamy stalker romance will place readers right in the thick of winter tension. Expect snow, spice, obsession, and just the right amount of holiday danger. A perfect pick for readers who like their Christmas stories with sharper edges.
2. Holiday Ever After — Hannah Grace
From the beloved author of the Maple Hills series comes a warm, cozy winter romance filled with charm, chemistry, and festive sparkle. Soft blankets, snowy nights, and swoony holiday vibes make this a sweet seasonal must read and I'm very excited to dig in.
3. Good Spirits — B.K. Borison
I love a paranormal romance and this paranormal holiday romance comes with a supernatural twist. Centering around a ghostly visitor and a heartwarming emotional journey, this book blends festive magic with the cozy, lovable tone Borison is known for and I'm here for it.
4. Window Shopping — Tessa Bailey
A sunshine/grump holiday rom com with razor sharp banter and department store Christmas magic. When a woman redesigns a storefront window and catches the eye of its charming, bow tie-wearing manager the result is a funny, flirty, with a hint of spice. It reminds me of You've Got Mail in a way.
5. Lovelight Farms — B.K. Borison
Set on a Christmas tree farm and featuring fake dating, found family, and friends to lovers charm, this romance is basically a Hallmark movie in book form. I'm all about that Hallmark movie vibes.
6. In a Holidaze — Christina Lauren
A classic holiday rom com with a time-loop twist. When Mae finds herself reliving Christmas over and over again, she finally decides to chase what she really wants. Another book that I'm very excited for.
Have you read any of these books? Tell me your thoughts!
