As 2026 approaches, I’ve been reflecting on what I want to achieve in the coming year. Recently, I wrote a blog post about how to achieve more in 2026 using measurable and realistic goals, and it really helped me think clearly about what’s both meaningful and attainable. Using those principles, I’ve outlined a few intentions for the year ahead, goals that encourage growth, creativity, and wellbeing, without creating unnecessary pressure for me.
1. Building Creative Opportunities
One of my biggest aspirations is to land a paid UGC collaboration. I want to create content that feels authentic and valuable while opening doors to new creative opportunities. This is about showing up consistently, honing my craft, and trusting that my unique voice will resonate with the right people.2. Career Growth in Administration
Finding a job in an administrative role is another key goal for 2026. It's a dog eat dog world out there and I hope I can find a job that suits me and helps refresh and further my skills. Fingers crossed.
3. Reading as a Practice, Not a Race
I aim to read 26 books in 2026. Reading isn’t just about hitting a number, it’s about nourishing my mind, learning new perspectives, and enjoying the journey. Even though I read 40 books this year, setting a realistic goal allows me to savor each story rather than rush. I have many books on my TBR that need cutting down and I am a mood reader and need to remind myself that I just need to read the book instead of letting it collect dust.
Here’s to a 2026 filled with mindful achievements, meaningful creations, and everyday moments of growth.
4. Nurturing My Wellbeing
This year, I want to focus on my health and wellbeing by taking better care of myself with mindful nutrition, supplements, and habits that make me feel my best. It’s about consistency, not perfection but small, intentional actions every day that help me feel energized and centered. Starting with drinking my greens and vitamins.5. Crafting Joy
My little needle felted ghosts bring me so much joy, and I want to dedicate time to them in 2026. Creating them isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way to slow down, focus, and connect with something purely for the love of making. I also want to open my shop in 2026.6. Consistent Content Creation
Continuing my content creation journey is important, and I want to be consistent without feeling pressured. Consistency here means showing up, experimenting, and growing while keeping creativity and authenticity at the heart of it. I've really enjoyed making content for instagram and tiktok and will continue to do this.Setting Intentions, Not Pressure
The underlying theme of my 2026 goals is mindfulness, choosing achievable targets that inspire growth and joy rather than stress. Each small step is part of a bigger journey, and every day is an opportunity to nurture creativity, career, and wellbeing. Here’s to a 2026 filled with mindful achievements, meaningful creations, and everyday moments of growth.
