Over the past year I have been thinking a lot more about my health, nutrition, and overall wellbeing, especially as I head into 2026 with the goal of getting more vitamins and building healthier habits. That is part of the reason I was really excited when I joined the Huel affiliate program. They kindly sent me a box of their products to try so I could experience them properly in my daily routine rather than just reading about the ingredients online.

Inside the box were a selection of Huel’s meal replacement shakes, protein bars, greens powder, vitamin energy drinks, and a variety of flavours to explore. It was a great chance to see how their products fit into a busy lifestyle where convenience and nutrition both matter.

Huel was originally created with the idea of providing nutritionally complete food that is quick, affordable, and plant based. The idea is that you can get a balanced meal that includes protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, fibre, and essential vitamins and minerals without needing to cook or prepare something from scratch. That appealed to me because I often find myself juggling work, plans, and everyday life, and meals are sometimes the first thing that become rushed.

Once I started trying the products for myself, the meal replacement shakes were the first thing I reached for. They are very easy to prepare and surprisingly filling, which made them a really good option for breakfast or lunch on busy days. My favourite so far has been the chocolate meal shake. It feels comforting and enjoyable while still giving me the nutrients I am aiming for.

The protein bars were another product I genuinely enjoyed. They are more dense and hearty than a regular snack bar, which makes them feel more satisfying. The dark chocolate raspberry protein bar has been my favourite flavour so far. It has a rich taste with just the right amount of sweetness and it works well as a post workout snack or something to keep me going in the afternoon. Second best choice was the chocolate brownie.

I also spent some time trying the Huel greens powder. Since one of my goals this year is to increase my vitamin and micronutrient intake, I really appreciated having something I could easily mix into water or a smoothie. The taste is earthy and natural, as you would expect from a greens blend, but it mixes smoothly and fits nicely into a morning routine.

One of the more unexpected highlights from the box was the vitamin energy drinks. They are lighter than typical energy drinks and I really liked that they are designed with added vitamins to support daily nutrition rather than just focusing on caffeine. My favourite flavours so far have been the cherry and raspberry drinks. They taste refreshing and give a gentle lift without feeling too intense.

Trying everything first hand has helped me understand how Huel can fit into everyday life. It works especially well for people who want something convenient, plant based, and nutritionally balanced without always having to spend time cooking.

I am also looking forward to trying more of their range in the future. I have my eye on the strawberry banana and iced latte meal shakes, and I would love to test one of their instant hot meal options as well, especially as part of my ongoing focus on health and wellbeing throughout 2026.
