CIRCUS OF HORRORS

I recently attended the Circus of Horror's show at Customs House for the Haunted Fairground tour and absolutely loved it so I thought I would share with you guys what to expect if you ever catch one of their touring shows. This isn't my first time at Circus of Horrors. I also had the pleasure of seeing them last year for their The Witch themed tour.

Circus of Horrors is a British circus act created by John Haze (stage name Dr Haze) and Gerry Cottle and have been around since 1995. They have performed at many festivals over the years and have performed for stars such as Ant & Dec, Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson and Yvette Fielding. They also hold numerous world records including most swords swallowed in one minute. In 2011, Circus of Horrors even auditioned for Britain Got Talent and became the only circus act to reach the finals

The 2023 Haunted Fairground tour showcased quite a few acts that had already been seen in their 2022 tour of The Witch but with some new acts to keep it fresh. Depending on the theme of the show, depends on the acts who will be showcasing their horrific skills.

This time it was set in a decrepit Fairground, haunted by creatures who have been plastinated as exhibits in the House of Wax and brought back to life by a Tesla coil machine to reek havoc.

Accompanied by a live rock band, Circus of Horrors will mesmerize you from start to finish.

You can expect some mild nudity, language, maybes some blood splatter in the first row and loud music. Just don't take your kids.

PHOTOS OF THE EVENT

Here are couple of snaps I took while I was at the event. I wish I had taken more of the other acts but I was trying to be in the moment but also I'd like to give you guys a little taste of what to expect and not just show you the whole event in photos. The images were just taken on my phone and I tried my best to get those shots but I did have people in front of me that askew-ed my photo taking abilities.

I loved the contortionist with the bow and arrow as I had not seen her previously. And I could almost feel the flames from the fire rope as I was in second row. There were some lovely acts of aerial dancing and acrobats, with such great chemistry from the cast.

I actually fan-girl when i post photos of the show on Instagram as most of the cast will like and comment.

You can also view their website gallery here.

I highly recommend getting tickets to one of their future shows if you love circus acts, titties, acrobatics, horror and rock music!
